A new wine bar and Asian fusion spot, offering tapas and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The newcomer to the Lower East Side, called 'There,' is located at 154 Orchard St.

'There' serves both brunch and dinner. For brunch, look for options like eggs Benedict with cured trout and a black bread muffin, or the fried chicken with strawberry hot sauce and a corn puree. Guests can also enjoy two-for-one mimosas with their breakfasts.

For dinner, expect a range of seafood and meaty dishes, like scallops with spring onions and sorrel, duck breast with carrot greens and blood orange, and fried chicken with strawberry hot sauce and corn purée. (Check out the full menu here.)

As for wine, the bar offers a wide variety of domestic and international whites, reds and sparkling options by the bottle or glass.

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the new wine bar seems to be making a good impression in the neighborhood.

Christopher X., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 21, wrote, "Very cute spot and great for dates. Ordered the fried chicken with a spicy strawberry sauce; the breading was crunchy rather than oily/crispy, almost like tempura. Ricky the owner is enthusiastic and recommended a good local beer to pair the meal."

Yelper Cecillia X. added, “Super cute tapas place in LES! Entering the restaurant is even fun. You go down a narrow hallway and emerge in the cozy dining room with high ceilings, impeccably decorated.”

Head on over to check it out yourself: 'There' is open from 5 p.m.–11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 5 p.m.–midnight on Friday, 11:30 a.m.–midnight on Saturday, and 11:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
