Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is a modern American eatery with a dog-friendly patio. This is the California-based chain's fourth location in Texas; it also has outposts in Nevada, Colorado and Illinois.

On its extensive menu, you'll find burgers, sandwiches and full entrees. Options include the pulled pork sandwich with house barbecue sauce, blue cheese slaw and crispy onions on a toasted bun; the barbecue bison meatloaf with smoked bacon, red-skin potato mash and sautéed spinach; and sesame-crusted ahi tuna with cauliflower mash. Wash down your meal with one of the local craft brews or try the sampler featuring six four-ounce tasters.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp.

Amanda K., who was among the first to review it on Oct. 7, wrote, "The food was seriously delicious and the service was incredible! We tried drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees, kids meals and dessert — nothing disappointed!"

E C. noted, "The food was excellent; our server was wonderful and made our experience delightful. The highlight of the evening was the seven-layer chocolate cake — don't leave here without it!"

Miller Tavern & Beer Garden

Miller Tavern & Beer Garden is a sports bar and traditional American spot inside the new Texas Live! restaurant complex and event venue.

On the menu, expect dishes like the Bacon Caramelized Onion Cheeseburger with sharp cheddar and American cheeses; Miller's Fried Chicken, a dish of buttermilk-brined bone-in chicken, maple syrup and bacon-jalapeño corn fritters; and the Grilled Ribeye Steak Frites with herb and blue cheese butter, parsley garlic sauce, watercress and crispy fries. Pair your meal with beer, wine or a margarita. 

The new bar and eatery has gotten off to an uneven start thus far, with a three-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Andrew S., who reviewed it on Sept. 30, wrote, "We came here for a football game. Couldn't have been any happier. Casey was our bartender and was amazing all day. Food was great, felt fresh. Good and original menu. Best place to come in Texas Live!"

Rene S. noted, "Long wait time for food to get done. Mac and cheese was not that great. Fries and wings were good."

Sports & Social Arlington

Sports & Social Arlington is a sports bar, also within the new Texas Live! restaurant complex.

Described as the ultimate fan clubhouse for Rangers fans, it has 30,000 square feet of space across two levels, with Skee-Ball, table tennis, shuffle puck, air hockey and other entertainment.

The menu offers dishes like the Texas Dog (a hot dog with salsa, shredded pepper jack, jalapeños and chili), the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (buttermilk-marinated chicken breast, pickles, coleslaw and "Comeback" sauce) and the Carnivore pizza (pepperoni, ham, salami, bacon, meatballs and mozzarella).

The new sports bar is off to a solid start thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Cherese C., who was the first to review the new spot, wrote, "We liked the atmosphere. Service was great and went above and beyond to make us satisfied even where we didn't expect it. Food was good."

Refugio O. added, "My wife and I were in town for the Dallas Cowboys game and were looking for a place to watch. Texas Live! is a great spot to try! Sports & Social Arlington was one of the only locations with tables left, but was very accommodating. The food and drinks were presentable and the staff was nice."
