1. Halls Chophouse Greenville

Topping the list is Halls Chophouse Greenville. Located at 550 S. Main St., this is the highest rated steakhouse in Greenville, boasting 4.5 stars out of 200 reviews on Yelp. 

Look for the filet mignon, porterhouse and New York strip among Hall's entrees. In addition to a wide selection of steaks, the menu also features seafood, veal, pork and roasted chicken. The wine list includes more than 100 international and domestic wines.

2. Larkin's on the River

Next up is Larkin's on the River, situated at 318 S. Main St. With four stars out of 244 reviews on Yelp, the steakhouse also serves seafood.

The dry-aged New York strip and center-cut bone-in ribeye are among the offerings on the menu. Larkin's also offers a selection of seasonal selections including the Torpedo Tenderloin, rack of lamb and Chilean sea bass. The One Plum Mojito is among several cocktails on the menu.

3. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, located at 1025 Woodruff Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the steakhouse four stars out of 189 reviews.

Firebirds, a national chain with several locations across the country, has received positive attention in Greenville. The menu also includes seafood selections including salmon, tuna and crab cakes.

Yelper Clark N. wrote, "The menu is extensive, and our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. We made reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food was excellent, the wine list was great and the service was on point."  

4. Saskatoon Steaks Fish Wild Game

Saskatoon Steaks Fish Wild Game, located at 681 Halton Road, is another go-to spot with four stars out of 172 Yelp reviews.  

Saskatoon serves steak, fish and wild game in a hunting lodge atmosphere. Elk tenderloin and antelope are among the specialties. The menu also features a wide selection of steaks, seafood, chicken and pork.

Yelper Bao T. wrote, "The game meats here are very unique and each has a flavor of their own. We got the hunter's platter, which came with venison, kangaroo and ostrich. None of them had a gamey flavor and were all tender." 

5. Rick Erwin's West End Grille

Then there's Rick Erwin's West End Grille, which has earned four stars out of 109 reviews on Yelp. Located at 648 S. Main St., this local favorite is part of a restaurant group with several other outposts. 

Rick Erwin's specializes in aged and premium cuts of beef, but also offers options like apple-thyme chicken and crab cakes in a lobster cream sauce. The Greenville location, situated in the West End, was established in 2005.
