Hungry? A new neighborhood eatery, offering Southern fare, brunch and cocktails, has you covered. Located at 555 W. Bitters Road, the new addition is called Meadow.

The seasonal menu, which uses local Texan produce, has options like the fried chicken with braised greens, collard greens chow chow, hot sauce and honey; the bone-in fried pork chop with early fall squash gratin and roasted garlic butter; and the wood oven-roasted acorn squash with oyster mushrooms, shishito jam and basil. (See the menu here.)

With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Meadow is on its way to developing a local fan base.

“What a beautiful restaurant. Modern and industrial with a warm feeling," wrote Yelper Andrew K., who reviewed it on Oct. 11. "We sat in the lounge part of the bar, which was very comfortable and relaxed. The owner came over a few times to check on us, which really gives you the feeling that this is a well-run family-owned neighborhood restaurant."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Meadow is open from 5–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Saturday and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
