Humanity First Tour: Meet 2020 Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang

Andrew Yang, a tech entrepreneur and 2020 presidential candidate, will make a stop in Pittsburgh this Wednesday on his national Humanity First tour. 

As a founder of Venture for America, the Democrat has worked to create more than 2,500 jobs in Cleveland, Detroit and Pittsburgh. One of his central campaign platforms is a universal income for every American adult.

Community Workshop: Four Mile Run Stormwater Improvement Project

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is hosting an interactive workshop for residents to offer input on the Four Mile Run Stormwater Improvement Project. Participants will explore individual stations detailing the project, ask questions and provide input at every step. The stations will focus on the general watershed expansion, Panther Hollow Lake, streams and historic bridges throughout Schenley Park, public art and mobility.

Discussion with Ron Stallworth, Author of 'BlacKkKlansman' 

"BlacKkKlansman" author Ron Stallworth, whose story was recently chronicled in the Spike Lee film of the same name, will discuss his book this Wednesday at the  Kaufmann Center. Stallworth will also discuss recent headlines surrounding racial prejudice and division. 

This event is hosted by the Hill House Association, which aims to highlight African American artists, musicians, performers and authors.

Murder Mystery Dinner at Gaetano's

Enjoy a murder mystery dinner surrounding the death Bartholomew Cosmo, an eccentric inventor and millionaire. The buffet dinner will include chicken Florentine, sausage and meatballs, pasta marinara, parsley potatoes, green beans, salad, ice cream and beverages. There will also be a cash bar.
