Next up is West 7th's Mississippi Market, situated at 1500 W. Seventh St. With 4.5 stars out of 42 reviews on Yelp, the grocery store and deli has proven to be a local favorite and is open on Thanksgiving morning for last-minute shopping.

Look for a variety of options in store. This grocer has high-quality products that are sourced locally with minimal packaging. It also has a full service deli and caters. 1. Trung Nam French Bakery

This place prides itself on making made-from-scratch fare every morning. According to the business's website, bakers arrive at 3 a.m. to start baking and by 6:30 a.m. workers are grinding and brewing the house blend coffee.

3. Swede Hollow Café

This spot was established in 1997 in the historic Stutzman building on the city's east side. Score cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, scones, cookies or shortbread in the spot's bakery.
