Ready to hit up the newest businesses to open in Paradise Valley? From a Mediterranean restaurant to a sausage company, read on for a rundown of the newest spots to land in this part of Phoenix.

Stanley's Homemade Sausage Company

Stanley's Homemade Sausage Company is a meat shop, deli and Polish spot.

In addition to the meat shop, customers can order a Polish dinner plate of smoked Polish sausage, fresh Polish sausage, bigos and bread and butter, or the Italian beef and sausage combo sub that comes with sweet or hot peppers. Make sure to add one of the specialty sides like a pound of sour head cabbage.

With a 4.5-star Yelp rating out of six reviews, Stanley's Homemade Sausage Company has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Norm W., who reviewed it on Nov. 11, wrote, "[This is a] great place for smoked meats and sandwiches. I ordered three subs for lunch guests, including Polish sausage and onions, vegetarian, and roast beef and cheese. All were made to order and enjoyed by all."

April A. noted, "The meats here are all made at this location fresh. I love all their sausages and the bacon is to die for. They have a sandwich shop inside this location and it is reasonably priced."

Stanley's Homemade Sausage Company is open from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. daily.

Kovo Modern Mediterranean

KOVO Modern Mediterranean features shared plates of appetizers, bruschette, pizza, dinner entrees, salads and burgers.

Diners can start with the chef selection of the dip trio that includes tzatziki, crazy feta and a choice of hummus, and then move on to the braised lamb that is cooked in a red wine sauce and served with Israeli couscous and a vegetable. 

Meals can be paired with a cocktail, glass of wine, beer or spirits from the restaurant's vast bar menu.  

With a 4.5-star rating out of 63 reviews on Yelp, KOVO Modern Mediterranean is off to a strong start.

Yelper Heidi R., who reviewed the eatery on Nov. 11, wrote, "I had a fabulous dinner at KOVO with some friends. Each of our meals was outstanding and very tasty. The lamb chops that I had were to die for. So tasty. The waitress was super friendly and attentive."

Yuko H. noted, "I just had a great lunch here at this recently opened restaurant. It was definitely a five-star experience. I tried their lamb burger. The meat was flavored so well, cooked perfectly in medium rare. I enjoyed every bite of it with their tzatziki sauce."

KOVO Modern Mediterranean is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday–Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

El King Sushi

El King Sushi isn't your typical sushi bar, offering Mexican-style options such as a volcano ball, Vegas roll and standards like a California roll. 

Yelpers are excited about the new spot, which currently holds five stars out of four reviews on the site.

Ira F., who reviewed it on Oct. 18, noted, "A new restaurant only open three months [with] a different twist on sushi. Mexican style. The ceviche was so fresh and tasty. Nice-size shrimp pieces. Everything made fresh."

Yelper Karla P. wrote, "The best sushi you can try. It is super delicious [and they] have a great variety of fried and baked sushi. You need to try it and also they have Vegas and California Roll so yummy."

El King Sushi is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.

Tacos Huicho

Tacos Huicho recently debuted and is serving up traditional Mexican fare. Yelpers recommend the three taco combo that comes with rice and beans and the quesadilla. 

Tacos Huicho has a current rating of four stars out of 38 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Amber P., who reviewed the restaurant on Nov. 11, wrote, "My taste buds are singing! ... If you are in the mood for some authentic street tacos with delicious beans and rice on the side, look no further."

Yelper Lori H. wrote, "The staff was very friendly and helpful. The seasoning/sauce they use to sauté the chicken in the quesadilla was so good. My husband really liked his pork taco and tamale too."

Giordano's

Chicago-based pizza chain Giordano's, which is famous for its deep-dish pizza, has opened its doors in Phoenix. 

Customers can order the The Special that comes with sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions or opt for the bacon barbecue chicken. Traditional-style thin-crust pizza is also available as well as salads, sandwiches and classic Italian fare. 

Yelpers are still warming up to Giordano's, which currently holds 3.5 stars out of 83 reviews on the site.

Josh M., who reviewed the pizzeria on Oct. 10, wrote, "This was my very first experience with any kind of Chicago deep-dish pizza, so needless to say my expectations were very high when I sat down. ... About 45 minutes passed and our pizza arrived — our glorious cheesy, saucy, crusty goodness. My first experience with a Chicago deep dish definitely did not disappoint."

Yelper Shawn B. wrote, "Our server was great, prompt refills and friendly service. And the pizza was everything I expect from a deep dish."
