Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top cafes in Greenville, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to satisfy your cravings.


1. Stax Omega Diner

Topping the list is Stax Omega Diner. Located at 72 Orchard Park Drive, the diner, cafe and breakfast and brunch spot is the highest rated cafe in Greenville, boasting four stars out of 289 reviews on Yelp.

This spot offers breads, muffins, cookies, cakes, pies and more. Stax also accommodates orders for custom cakes. French, Greek and Italian desserts are  made daily. Breakfast options include french toast and egg skillets. 

Yelper Chris G. said, "This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert. I had the Greek Stuffed Cabbage with a tomato sauce. It was awesome."

2. The Chocolate Moose Bakery & Café

The Chocolate Moose Bakery & Café, located at 130 S. Main St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the cafe and bakery, which offers coffee and tea and more, four stars out of 105 reviews.

The Chocolate Moose Bakery & Café opened in 2011 and moved to its current location inside M. Judson Booksellers & Storytellers in 2016.  The specialty bakery and cafe offers cupcakes, cookies and more. Take a look at the full bakery menu here. 

3. Strossner's Bakery & Cafe

Strossner's Bakery & Cafe is another go-to, with four stars out of 78 Yelp reviews. Head over to 21 Roper Mountain Road to see for yourself.

This spot specializes in custom cakes, pies, tarts, cookies and more. The cafe menu includes a wide variety of selections for breakfast and lunch. Strossner's is open from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.) 

Yelper Cheryl H. noted, "This spot has nice pastries, really good cakes and isa great place to have lunch! It has a wide selection of baked goods."

4. Crazy Cuban Cafe

Then there's the Crazy Cuban Cafe, which has earned five stars out of nine reviews on Yelp. You can find the cafe and Cuban spot at 1340 N. Pleasantburg.

Specializing in Cuban cuisine, the spot serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Saturday. There are also portions for children. Take a look at the full menu here.
