Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top pasta shops in Seattle, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're in the market for pasta shops.


1. Il Corvo Pasta

First up is Il Corvo Pasta, situated at 217 James St. With 4.5 stars out of 991 reviews on Yelp, the pasta shop and Italian spot, serving pasta and more, is the highest ranked spot in Seattle.

According to the website, Il Corvo sources all of its ingredients locally and uses organic eggs and flour. Look for notable menu options like fusilli with pesto; tuna casarecce with treviso, capers and garlic; and conchiglini with clams and shishito peppers. 

Yelper Amanda C. wrote, "This is one of the most delicious and affordable pasta places in the world. What makes their pasta so good is that their sauce clings onto the pasta so well, and every bite is filled with flavor.

2. Pizza And Pasta Bar

Next up is Pike Market's Pizza and Pasta Bar, situated at 1530 Post Alley (between Pike Place and Pine Street). With 4.5 stars out of 281 reviews on Yelp, the pasta shop and Italian spot, serving pizza and more, has proven to be a local favorite.

Expect pasta (spaghetti and fettuccini) and pizza (cheese and pepperoni) classics, and also keep your eye on a variety of salads, hot sandwiches and combination platters. Here's the menu

3. Due' Cucina Italiana

Broadway's Due' Cucina Italiana, located at 412 Broadway East (between Republican and Harrison streets), is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the pasta shop and Italian spot 4.5 stars out of 277 reviews. This spot features a variety of meaty and vegetarian-friendly pasta dishes.

Notable options include the Bolognese Ragu with pork and ground beef slowly simmered in a tomato sauce and flavored with red and white wine; Carbonara Vera with an egg yolk base, cured pork belly, parmesan cheese and a hint of szechuan pepper; and the vegetarian Kale Pesto complete with walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, olive oil and parmesan cheese. 4. Pappardelle's Pasta

Pappardelle's Pasta, a pasta shop in Pike Market, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 83 Yelp reviews. Head over to 1519 Pike Place, Suite 8 (between Post Alley) to see for yourself. The business was started in 1984 by David Bowen and Bill Curtis in Denver.

This place offers unique dry pastas infused with flavor and much more. Expect spicy and sweet flavored pastas and other Italian cooking staples such as fresh-frozen pasta, sauces and pesto, oils and vinegars and more. Gift boxes are also available. 5. Pasta Casalinga

Over in Pike Market, check out Pasta Casalinga, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 70 reviews on Yelp. You can find the pasta shop at 93 Pike St., Suite 201 (between Post Alley and First Avenue). 

The small menu has four options on it, including spaghetti with Alaskan cod, artichoke, capers and olives; pipe con salsiccia with fennel seeds, sausage, grapes and rosemary; a fusilli dish with squash, burrata, Calabrian chili oil and nigella seeds; and sausage lasagna with sweet peas and mushroom.
