1. KamanaWana Hawaiian Treats

Topping the list is KamanaWana Hawaiian Treats. Located at 13825 N. 19th Ave. in North Mountain, the spot to score juice and smoothies, shaved ice and acai bowls is the highest rated acai bowl spot in Phoenix, boasting 4.5 stars out of 218 reviews on Yelp.

The Aloha Bowl includes granola, banana, blueberries and honey or agave. There is also the caramel frappe, which has arabica coffee with sweet caramel and creamy frappe.

2. Wow Wow Lemonade Scottsdale

Next up is Paradise Valley's Wow Wow Lemonade Scottsdale, situated at 6501 E. Greenway Parkway, Suite 152. With 4.5 stars out of 150 reviews on Yelp, the spot to score juice and smoothies, acai bowls and coffee has proven to be a local favorite.

Yelpers recommend the cacao energy bowl, which has organic acai, banana, organic strawberry and blueberries and coconut milk, as well as the avocado toast. Wash it all down with one of the many lemonades and smoothies on offer.

Central City's Grabbagreen Downtown - Phoenix, located at 50 W. Jefferson St., Suite 120, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the spot for smoothies and acai bowls four stars out of 156 reviews.

Popular menu items from Yelpers included the cococabana bowl that has organic acai juice, bananas, coconut, mango and pineapple, and the chicken hash bowl, which comes with carrots, chicken, egg, green onion, kale and yams in a creamy avocado sauce.

4. Berry Beet Juice Bar

Berry Beet Juice Bar, a vegetarian spot in Ahwatukee Foothills, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 48 Yelp reviews. Head over to 4206 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 9, to see for yourself.

Yelpers raved about the Pretty Pink Pitaya bowl that includes blended pitaya, strawberry, banana and guava juice and is topped with strawberries, bananas, kiwi, granola, coconut flakes and agave or honey. Another favorite is the Acai Gone Nuts with a base of blended acai, banana, peanut butter and almond milk, which is then topped with bananas, peanut butter, granola, hemp seed and honey or agave.

Then there's Nekter Juice Bar, which has earned four stars out of 81 reviews on Yelp. You can find the spot for acai bowls and ice cream at 4340 Indian School Road, Suite 19, in Camelback East.

Come try menu items like the new dragonfruit bowl of pitaya, banana, pineapple, coconut butter and coconut water blended together and topped with hemp seed granola, raw coconut flakes, strawberries, banana and pineapple, as well as the acai banana berry bowl, which includes açaí, strawberry, blueberry, banana and housemade cashew milk blended together and topped with hemp seed granola, fresh strawberries, blueberries, banana and agave nectar. 

"The acai bowl really hit the spot on a hot, sunny day in Phoenix," Yelper Nina H. said. "This branch is conveniently located in a strip mall with parking. The shop has lots of healthy options, but I was really satisfied with the acai bowl with bananas, granola and all the other fixings."
