Now open at 5910 Phinney Ave. North in Phinney Ridge is Ada's Restaurant & Bar, a modern European spot. Yelpers are fans of Ada's Restaurant & Bar: it's got five stars out of six reviews, so far.

This fine dining restaurant serving European cuisine is courtesy of owner/chef Ayhan Barlas, who has over 25 years of experience including 15 as executive chef of Daniel's Broiler South Lake Union.

Notable menu options include Australian lamb chops with four cheese scallop potatoes and seasonal veggies; pan roasted chicken in a mushroom marsala wine sauce served with diced tomatoes; and fettuccini ricardo with braised duck breast and grated reggiano cheese. Appetizers, soups, salads and vegetarian options are also available.

Stroll past 660 S. King St. in the International District and you'll find Sizzling Pot King, a Szechuan spot, offering hot pot and more.

Customers start by selecting from an array of options like griddle-cooked beef tongue, catfish, chicken, rabbit, snails or pork ribs. After choosing a bowl size and selecting their spice level, dishes are rounded out by picking a flavor profile like sweet and sour, garlic or seafood. Each dish comes with a variety of sides, including potato, celery, cauliflower and soy bean sprouts.
