La Boulangerie Boul'Mich is a Miami-based artisanal bakery and cafe mini-chain.

At this outlet, look for French baked favorites, from eclairs to baguettes to chocolate-infused croissants, as well as South American empanadas and Mexican tortillas. There's also a full breakfast menu, plus pastas, salads and gourmet sandwiches.

Espresso-style coffee is from Italian roaster, Lavazza.

La Boulangerie Boul'Mich's current Yelp rating of five stars out of eight reviews indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper Jose A., who reviewed La Boulangerie Boul'Mich on Nov. 11, wrote, "The best coffee and croissants in town. Have to try the eggs Benedict and the Nutella croissant. The double espresso macchiato is a must have."

Daniella N. noted, "Excellent food. Love the chorizo empanada, and the pastas are also amazing. The staff is very attentive and always available to help. Freshly made croissants—the Nutella one is my favorite."

La Boulangerie Boul'Mich is open from 7:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)

Pompei79 is a new Italian spot. You'll find a selection of classic pasta dishes, like penne alle vodka and linguini carbonara. Meat and seafood main dishes include chicken marsala and a branzino filet.

There are also numerous red and white pizza options. Most come topped with meat (chicken, prosciutto and spicy salami), but veggie lovers can enjoy seasonal vegetables and eggplant options.

Yelp users are generally positive about Pompei79, which currently holds four stars out of six reviews on the site.

Yelper Arcy V., who reviewed Pompei79 on Nov. 19, wrote, "Quality and service just as good as their other restaurant. Their food is fresh and good quality. They have a brick oven and do terrific fish, veggies, pizza, etc. in it."

David P. noted, "The food is quite good, and I'm hoping, in time, the public will find them, as it was quite quiet there last night for a Saturday. The service was excellent. The music was eclectic. The ambiance very pleasant."

Pompei79 is open from 5–9:30 p.m. on Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)

Shake Shack

Finally, there's Shake Shack, a new outlet of the New York-based burger chain.

It has the signature cheeseburger, smashed thin and cooked on a griddle, served with house sauce on a potato bun. Burgers can be customized: add mushrooms, bacon or a second patty. The menu also offers hot dogs, a chicken sandwich, fries and shakes.

With a 3.5-star Yelp rating out of 25 reviews on Yelp, Shake Shack is still finding its way, but it's early days.

Yelper Zak H., who reviewed Shake Shack on Oct. 16, wrote, "They are thin burgers, cooked extremely quickly, so the crust on the burger is perfect while the meat still holds the moisture. They are served on a potato roll, which is my favorite kind of roll, with lettuce, tomato and house sauce. This is the kind of sauce that makes you forget about mustard and ketchup."

Yelper Brad S. wrote, "I've had some good and bad experiences at other locations, but the grand opening here hits the mark. I still think they should offer combos for the value, but I'll be back to the Shack."

Shake Shack is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
