Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top seafood hot spots in Greenville, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to fill the bill.

1. Soby's

Topping the list is Soby's. Located at 207 S. Main St., the New American and Southern spot is the highest rated seafood spot in Greenville, boasting four stars out of 492 reviews on Yelp.

Andre B. wrote, "The wife's fish was cooked perfectly with some Cajun-Creole spices and came with some asparagus and cheesy grits.  She also really enjoyed her basil bourbon drink, and they do have an extensive list of cocktails."

2. Larkin's on the River

Next up is Larkin's on the River, situated at 318 S. Main St. With four stars out of 254 reviews on Yelp, the steakhouse and traditional American spot, serving seafood and more, has proven to be a local favorite.

Yelper Ananth S. said, "Everything from the steak to seafood to the sides are top notch here. The appetizers are so good we usually end up chilling at the bar and sharing a bunch of those rather than ordering entrees—our favorites include the scallops, oysters Rockefeller, quesadillas and crab cakes."

3. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, located at 1025 Woodruff Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the steakhouse and wine bar, which offers seafood and more, four stars out of 204 reviews.

Ashley T. said, "The salad I got was amazing! Atmosphere was great! Not a seafood fan usually, but the lobster spinach dip was delicious. I would order it again."

4. Jianna
