Noche Bicolor (Peruvian Night)

Arnold Newman Lecture Series on Photography: Dawoud Bey

Photographer Dawoud Bey will speak about his work and sign his latest monograph at the National Museum of Art on Sunday. The American artist - a 2017 MacArthur Fellow - teaches photography at Columbia College Chicago. He's known for his sensitive portrayals of Americans from marginalized groups.

Sunday Social (December)

Also on Sunday, it's the "Ugly Sweater Edition" of Sunday Social. This free monthly event at Bakers & Baristas invites local artists to perform at the open mic, while audience members are encouraged to socialize over drinks.
