Three adults and two children were displaced in Bayview/Hunter's Point this weekend, after a one-alarm fire occurred in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, no one was injured in the blaze, which began just after 2 a.m. in a two-story residential building at 152 Harbor Rd. (at Jennings St.) The fire was contained about 15 minutes later, but the building's garage and lower unit sustained damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Red Cross was called in to assist the five residents who were unable to return to their home.
District 10 Supervisor Shamann Walton thanked the SFFD and the Red Cross on Twitter for "saving lives and taking care of families."
