First Friday Art Show & Open House

Parkwood Studios is hosting works by multiple artists, painters and photographers at its studio this Friday. Live music and art exhibits will also be present. Drinks will be served.

Foreign Film Friday: Amélie

Delve into the fanciful life of Amélie this Friday at Arizona Humanities' Foreign Film Friday. The film, which was directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, takes place in over 80 Parisian locations that invoke a dreamy ambience that carries throughout the piece. Snacks will be included.

Girls Rule Brainstorming Day With Brilliant People

Calling all forward-thinking girls and women (and men too) — join Girls Rule, an all-volunteer organization that encourages young girls to embrace their power and fulfill their dreams, for a day of creative brainstorming and networking. The organization is hosting a discussion to address strategies regarding funding, expansion and the organization's four programs.
