Creating Inclusion and Support for Children Experiencing Traumatic Loss and Grief

On Friday, join Emilio Parga, M.Ed., Executive Director of the Solace Tree, as he presents "Creating Inclusion and Support for Children Experiencing Traumatic Loss and Grief." Three break-out sessions will focus on animal-assisted interventions, play therapy and a third session, to be determined. Lunch is included.

22nd Annual Mays Symposium: 'A Common Bond: How Photography Unites Us'

On Saturday, head over to the San Antonio Museum of Art. Scholaras and artists will explore the ways in which photography unites people. Lunch will be included and space is limited, so order your tickets ASAP.

Invaders of Texas Workshop

Also happening on Saturday, you can attend a free workshop and learn how to identify and report invasive plants. Training  will include data entry using the TX Invaders mobile application, so bring your smartphone and dress appropriately, since part of the training will be outdoors. Be sure to bring a bagged lunch and RSVP soon, as space is limited.

Free EveryDay Yogi Class at Southside Lions Community Center

If you're looking to forget your stressful week, grab your yoga mat and head to Southside Lions Park this weekend for a gentle stretch-and-release introductory yoga class. This event will take place every first Saturday through 2019 at various locations and everyone is welcome.
