There's a little something for everyone coming up on the events calendar this week. From a movie trivia night to a military jazz band, here's a rundown of options to help you get out and about in the days ahead.

Toro Y Moi Listening Party

This event will celebrate the latest album release by South Carolina chillwave artist Toro Y Moi (also known as Chaz Bear). The album is entitled "Outer Peace." This is an 18 and older event.

U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band 

The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band will perform this concert at the Northwest School of the Arts. The group's new jazz ensemble is called "Rhythm in Blue," and it honors American veterans. The band consists of 13 members.  

When: Wednesday, Jan. 30, 3:20 p.m.-4 p.m.

"Step Brothers" Trivia

This event will feature five rounds of trivia based on the Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly movie "Step Brothers" (2008). World Beer of Charlotte will serve as host venue. Admission is free, but team captains are encouraged to reserve tickets for all respective team members.

When: Wednesday, Jan. 30, 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

CMOMs Pre-Sale Shopping Event

This event is for Charlotte mothers with two or more kids. They will have access to spring and summer items before they are available to the public the next day. Expect children's clothing, toys, furniture and more. No children are allowed in the event space.  

When: Friday, Feb. 1, 8 p.m.-10 p.m.
