Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best affordable Thai restaurants around San Antonio, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to fill the bill.

1. Thai Lucky

Topping the list is Thai Lucky. Located at 711 S. Pine St. in Denver Heights, the Thai spot is the highest rated affordable Thai restaurant in San Antonio, boasting four stars out of 197 reviews on Yelp.

This spot offers Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese fare. My San Antonio reports the restaurant offers egg rolls, curry-infused dishes, pad Thai, fried rice, phở and sushi. Look for the chicken tom kha soup or the stir-fried noodles with pork and vegetables. 

2. Thai Taste

Next up is Thai Taste, situated at 5520 Evers Road. With four stars out of 186 reviews on Yelp, the Thai spot has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for an inexpensive option.

On the menu, expect to find rolls, spicy chicken wings, pad Thai varieties and more. Look for the chicken pad Thai served on a bed of noodles topped with bean sprouts and toasted peanuts. There's also the Tom Yum soup with chicken and mushrooms. 

3. Taste of Thailand Restaurant
