A new Mexican diner with breakfast and lunch options has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Camila’s Mexican Restaurant, the newcomer is located at 15311 Lookout Road, Suite 101. This is the second location for Camila's—the original is located off Henderson Pass.

The menu features tacos, empanadas, flautas, burritos and more. Standout breakfast dishes include the Migas Plate with two scrambled eggs cooked with tortilla chips and topped with melted cheese, served with breakfast potatoes and beans; and the Huevos Rancheros with two eggs topped with salsa ranchera and served with breakfast potatoes and beans.

Lunch items include the Camila's Bowl with beans, rice and choice of meat, topped with guacamole and pico de gallo, and the Plato Mexicano with two enchiladas, one tamal and one puffy taco.

The new addition has already attracted fans thus far, with a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Pam D., who was the first to review it on Dec. 22, wrote, “I've eaten several times at the Henderson Pass location and the food is just as delicious at their new location. The carne asada I had was very tender."

And Monica T. added, "Camila's was very good. The chips and salsa were perfect. They have agua fresca too. Prices are very reasonable, and the service was great! It's definitely worth a try!"

Hungry? The new spot is open from 6 a.m.–3 p.m. on weekdays, 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m.–3 p.m. on Sunday.
