There's always plenty to do in San Antonio, but finding fun on the cheap can be another story.

From a couponing workshop to a cultural dance performance, here are three fun things to do around town that'll cost you nothing at all.

Couponing Workshop

First, it's time to learn how to save money as The San Antonio Express-News is holding a couponing workshop on Wednesday at the Embassy Suites. Hosted by Brenda Anz, who is a master couponer, participants will learn the secrets, tips and tricks on how to save money at the grocery store at this free event. 

Attendees need to bring the coupons in the Sunday Express-News and a device with internet access. In addition to the Anz's presentation, there will be door prizes and giveaways, including grocery gift cards. 

When: Wednesday, Jan. 16, 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

10x Genomics Seminar - Future Products - UTHSCSA Greehey Children's Cancer Research Institute

Next, the Greehey Children's Cancer Research Institute is hosting a seminar on "Single Cell Solutions for Genomics, Transcriptions and Epigenomics" on Thursday. Participants will learn how to, "Enhance your biological discoveries with our genomics and high-throughput single cell transcriptomics products and explore our newest single cell technologies such as the Single Cell ATAC Solution and Single Cell Gene Expression Solution with Feature Barcoding technology."

Dr. Nirav Patel is the featured speaker. 

When: Thursday, Jan. 17, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Youth Matinee: Ile Bahia de San Antonio (Capoeira)

Lastly, the Carver Community Cultural Center is hosting Youth Mantinee: Ile Bahia de San Antonio (Capoeira) on Friday morning. The free event is a performance of a centuries old Brazilian art form that includes martial arts and dance moves synchronized to Brazilian music.

The mission of the Culture Center "is to celebrate the diverse cultures of our world, nation and community, with emphasis on its African and African-American heritage, by providing premier artistic presentations, community outreach activities and educational programs," according to the organization's website.
