If you've got sandwiches on the brain, you're in luck: we've found the freshest Fort Worth eateries to quell your cravings. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for some sandwiches.

Grub Kitchen and Bar

Grub Kitchen and Bar is a spot to score burgers, salads and sandwiches.

The chain burger restaurant offers a number of sandwich options on its menu, including the Cuban with citrus-braised pork, ham, Swiss cheese, caramelized onion mustard and pickles; the Southern Fried Chicken Club with fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, chipotle aioli, applewood bacon and pepper jack cheese; and the California Chicken with grilled chicken breast, bacon, Swiss cheese, sprouts, avocado and chipotle aioli.

Grub Kitchen and Bar's current Yelp rating of five stars out of seven reviews indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper Linda L., who was the first to review Grub Kitchen and Bar on Jan. 15, wrote, "The wings were hot and the kids burger and fries were fresh and delicious. I had the Ahi Tuna salad, which was very different from any other salad I've ever had. The dressing was perfect with the salad and surprisingly the Tex-Mex went well with the fresh fish."

Yelper Codi R. wrote, "This place is awesome! Incredibly tasty food and amazing service. Seriously, the employees here are friendly, helpful and working really hard to make sure every customer has a great experience."

Grub Kitchen and Bar is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Newk's Eatery

Newk's Eatery is a spot to score pizza, sandwiches, salads and soup.

The restaurant chain has three primary sections on its menu: pizza, salads and sandwiches. If you're looking for the latter, you'll find options like the Royal with smoked ham, oven-roasted turkey, Genoa salami, roast beef, Swiss cheese, mayo and spicy Creole mustard; the Grilled Steak with tenderloin, caramelized onion, provolone and horseradish sauce; and the Newk's Q with chicken, bacon, Swiss and barbecue sauce. Newk's Eatery's current Yelp rating of four stars out of eight reviews indicates the newcomer is getting solid reviews from local diners.

Yelper Nikole Y., who reviewed Newk's Eatery on Nov. 19, wrote, "My husband and I were so excited to visit Newk's! The food was excellent and the portions are perfect! They have a variety of food options and are vegetarian friendly! They are super polite and the place was very clean. They do have a few options for beer and wine as well!"

Brooke E. noted, "We tried it and loved it! When you walk in you can do grab-n-go or sit down. We chose sit down today, but I love that you're able to walk in, pick a sandwich from the cooler and be on your way."

Palio's On Tap Western Center

Palio's On Tap Western Center is an Italian spot, offering pizza and sandwiches.

If you're craving a sandwich, you'll find options like the Greek Gyro with sliced gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, feta and cucumber sauce on pita; the Hot Italian with pepperoni, ham, lettuce, tomato, cheese and creamy Italian dressing; and the Pesto Chicken with pesto, roasted chicken, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato and creamy Italian dressing. With a four-star Yelp rating out of 22 reviews on Yelp, Palio's On Tap Western Center has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Yasamin H., who reviewed it on Jan. 10, wrote, "Pizza is great here! If you get the spicy red sauce, it's actually a bit spicy, coming from someone who finds almost nothing spicy. The cheese bread was great, and the buffalo chicken pizza, the Stella, was the best buffalo chicken pizza around! Really nice clean place, with a friendly staff that's always cleaning and keeping an eye out."

Kristen S. noted, "Very friendly and attentive staff. They came by multiple times to check on us and make sure everything was great, that we got everything and to ask if we needed anything else! Food tasted great as well."
