Taco Dumbo brings Mexican fare to MidtownPhoto: Taco Dumbo/Yelp

A new Mexican spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Taco Dumbo, the fresh addition is located at 1385 Broadway in Midtown.

This Mexican restaurant, specializing in tacos, salads, bowls and margaritas, has three other locations in New York. Try the beef short-rib taco, which is braised with tamarind and is garnished with grapefruit pickled onions.

Pair your meal with one of Taco Dumbo's build your own cold-pressed juice margarita. And for dessert, try the vegan and dairy-free coconut soft-serve ice cream with coconut cacao, granola and goji berries.

With a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Taco Dumbo is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Kelsey M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on December 22, wrote, "This place is amazing! I've been to their location in Pennsy, but finally got to dive into the menu a bit more when they opened yesterday! I love the Chicken Tortilla Soup."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Taco Dumbo is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
