Andris Nelsons Conducts Boulanger, Debussy and Puccini

Conductor Andris Nelsons and the Boston Symphony Orchestra will present a rendition of pieces from Lili Boulanger, Claude Debussy and Giacomo Puccini.

Casual Fridays Series:  Britten, Boulanger and Debussy 

If you want to kick off your weekend with the sounds of classical music, check out the Boston Symphony Orchestra Children's Choir Friday night. The choir will perform Benjamin Britten's "Friday Afternoon," along with a rendition of Lili Boulanger's  short poem "A somber evening." The night will end with Claude Debussy 1899 "Nocturnes."

Charming Bastards, The Unoriginals and Ten Gold Dollars

Check out three local cover bands at the Midway Cafe this Friday night. The lineup includes Charming Bastard, an Eastern Massachusetts-based 60s rock cover band, The Unoriginals, a 80s and 90s rock, pop and alternative cover band and Ten Gold Dollars, a New England-based rock and blues band.
