A new pub and Irish spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 580 Walnut St. in Central Business District, the new arrival is called Street City Pub.
Street City Pub’s menu features Irish-American food cooked by chef Shawn Heine that consist of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, soups and entrées. Enjoy a plate of the Irish nachos, made of house corned beef, Fretboard Beer cheese, diced tomatoes, jalapeño sour cream and scallions.
Indulge in the Street City Pub Burger, made of an angus beef patty, Fretboard Coffee Jazz onions, fried egg, Irish cheddar and Irish whiskey mustard, served on a pretzel bun. They also offer desserts like the chocolate Irish cream cheesecake.
The fresh arrival has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Cesar C. who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb 3., wrote, “The environment was great and the food was amazing. The beer was great. I will definitely come back!”
