Interested in the inherency of bias? Come check out this event that explores and determines why biases exist and how it impacts our decision making. Also involved in the short workshop are ways to handle microaggressions within our biases that impact our day-to-day lives.

2019 Black History Month Evening of the Arts Soiree
Wear your evening best and head over to the Minneapolis Institute of Art for the fifth annual Twin Cities Black History Month Networking Soirée. The keynote address will delivered by artist, writer and architect James Garrett Jr. There will be snacks and libations available for purchase.

40th Annual UMN Undergraduate Anthropology Conference
Stop by the Hubert H. Humphrey Center on Saturday for a day of science fiction. The 40th annual event is brought to you by the UMN Anthropology Club and will feature a speech by interdisciplinary geoscientist Ben W. McGee, among others. Learn how science fiction and anthropology intertwine. Breakfast and lunch are both provided.
