Milk Bar

Now open at 3 Brattle St. in West Cambridge is Milk Bar Harvard Square, a bakery, offering desserts, ice cream and frozen yogurt and more. It has five other locations, including Las Vegas, New York City and Toronto.

The menu includes a variety of shakes, like the Fruity Cereal Shake and the Chocolate Malt Cake Shake. Try the Spinach Artichoke Bomb, which is spinach, artichoke hearts and Parmesan cheese baked inside pumpernickel rye dough. This spot also offers catering.

The Longfellow Bar

New to 40 Brattle St., Suite 3 in West Cambridge is The Longfellow Bar, a cocktail bar, venues and event space and New American spot.

The menu includes crab rangoon nachos, with jalapeños, cream cheese and scallions. You might like That Time I Screwed Up the Deviled Eggs, with potato chips, ikura and chives. Staff favorites cocktails include Dan's pick, a white Negroni.

Luce

Now open at 1 Shepard St. in Peabody is Luce, a cocktail bar and Italian spot, offering seafood and more.

On the menu, you'll find grilled, head-on shrimp with Calabrian chili aioli. Or, a grilled prime New York strip steak, with fingerling potatoes and horseradish crema might hit the spot. Top it off with a gelati or sorbetti and complement your meal with The Countess, made with Greenhook Ginsmiths dry gin, Cocchi Rosa, Carpano and dry vermouth.
