A new spot to score Mexican food has made its debut in the neighborhood. The newcomer, called Jose Tequila's, is located at 10500 Owings Mills Blvd.

The cantina is part of a local chain with five other locations in the state of Virginia. On the extensive menu, look for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and quesadillas, as well as special plates, like chile relleno and pollo fondido, and sampler platters. The bar also offers an array of beverages, including sangria and margaritas, with happy runs from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays.

It's still early days for the fresh arrival, which currently has three stars out of five reviews on Yelp.

Mr M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 6, wrote, "I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. The steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas were incredible. I'm still in shock over the enormous portions of food. Everything was fresh and bursting with authentic flavor."

And Karen H. wrote, "The chips were warm and crispy, and I loved the salsa. I got a vegetarian combo that included a spinach burrito and a mushroom quesadilla. The spinach burrito was covered in a red sauce and served with an ample amount of spinach.  "
