A new Indian, modern European and Middle Eastern spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Called King’s Kitchen, the fresh addition is located at 5054 Trail Lake Drive in Wedgwood.

Serving food from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bosnia, Russia and the Middle East, King's Kitchen offers breaks up its menu by country and region. Off the Indian section, which covers the majority of the menu, there is the Chicken Vindaloo that comes with boneless chicken mixed with hot curry and potatoes and served with basmati rice, or Tandoori-style Chicken Shish Kebab, which includes ground chicken with spices and herbs cooked on a skewer. Off the European and Nepali portion, try the Mijesamo Meso, which is a grilled meat platter with sausages, patties and cervapi. Wash it all down with either a yogurt drink or traditional Indian tea.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has already made a good impression.

Giancarla A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 3, wrote, "The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. The food was excellent — very flavorful. Servings were ample. We had vegetable samosas, which were yummy though could have been warmer. The Channa Masala was outstanding and the chicken tandoori was melt-in-your-mouth tender."

Yelper Danyelle A. added, “My oh my! What a treat of deliciousness. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. I had no idea what to order and they were patient while helping me decide. The food was amazing!”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. King’s Kitchen is open from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and 5–8 p.m. daily.
