Hungry? A new neighborhood Mediterranean spot has you covered. The fresh addition, called Mr. Chickpea, is located at 17700 San Pedro Ave., Suite 108.

The Lebanese restaurant serves hummus and falafel platters, kebabs, pitas (falafel, lamb, chicken, shish kabob and gyro) as well as baklava. Try the Turkish coffee or mint tea to go along with the meal.

With a four-star rating out of one reviews on Yelp so far, Mr. Chickpea seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Yelper David H., whow as the first to review it on Feb. 9, wrote, “Mr. Chickpea serves excellent food. If you can't decide and want to try everything, get the Taste of Lebanon platter for two. It has shish kebab, chicken kebab and kafta kebab, served with Lebanese rice. But it doesn't stop there.  It also comes with hummus, tabouli, baba ghannoush, olives, pickled vegetables and grape leaves, served with pita bread and tahini sauce.”

Mr. Chickpea has yet to post its hours online.
