A new Tex-Mex spot, offering burgers and sandwiches, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 13838 Jones Maltsberger Road, the new arrival is called Ruben's Backyard.

The restaurant serves up pulled pork sandwiches, chicken fajitas and buffalo chicken sandwiches, alongside an array of draft beers. Ruben's Backyard also features a play area for children. 

With a four-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival is off to a positive start with locals.

Gary K., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on Jan. 29, wrote, "Ruben's boasts a value priced, updated and thoughtfully imaginative menu, and friendly, welcoming staff. ... It's going to be a great addition to the neighborhood."

And Yelper Joe M. wrote, "[The] cheese and chili enchiladas were very satisfying. The sopapillas were spectacular. The chef definitely knows what he's doing. I will be back to try the variety of enchiladas they have on the menu. Can't wait!"
