San Diego-based autonomous vehicle company TuSimple has secured $95 million in Series D funding, according to company database Crunchbase, topping the city’s recent funding headlines. The cash infusion was announced February 13 and led by Sina.

According to its Crunchbase profile, "TuSimple is an innovative technology company that is devoted to the development and application of artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies."

The three-year-old startup has raised three previous funding rounds, including a $55 million Series C round in 2017.

In other local funding news, medical company Halozyme Therapeutics announced a $30 million post-IPO equity funding round on February 6, financed by arGEN-X.
