Topping the list is Kieran's Irish Pub, located at 601 First Ave. North in Downtown West. The pub is the highest rated Irish restaurant in Minneapolis, boasting four stars out of 282 reviews on Yelp.

Try the popular fish and chips or one of the other Irish-themed menu items. 

Yelper Daniel B., who reviewed Kieran's Irish Pub on Jan. 24, wrote, "Just looking at the appetizer menu, I knew this was going to a be good place to visit. I am half Irish and love food, so there was zero chance of us not doing the poutine."

2. Morrissey's Irish Pub

Next up is Calhoun's Morrissey's Irish Pub, situated at 913 W. Lake St. With four stars out of 99 reviews on Yelp, the Irish pub, breakfast and brunch spot has proven to be a local favorite.

The menu features Irish staples like bangers and mash, fish and chips, and corned beef and cabbage, but it also has American cuisine like burgers and sandwiches.

Pat S., who reviewed Morrissey's Irish Pub on June 21, wrote, "Great tap selection and perfect pints of Guinness! Good mix of traditional Irish food and American staples." 

3. The Anchor Fish & Chips Food Truck

Sheridan's The Anchor Fish & Chips, located at 302 13th Ave. NE, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Irish spot, which offers seafood and more, four stars out of 23 reviews.

The eatery serves up Alaskan cod and hand-cut chips. Look for the food truck around town during the warmer months of the year.

Yelper Stacey D., who reviewed Anchor Fish & Chips Food Truck on Sept. 5, wrote, "Anchor's Fish and Chips will never let you down ... Be prepared to wait but it is worth it and you will be full to the brim after!"
