Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts

Wander over to 1030 Woodward Ave., and you'll find the new brewery Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts. With 4.5 stars from three reviews on Yelp, the brewery is receiving positive attention. 

This fresh arrival specializes in small batch beer. You will find everything from Belgian tables beers to IPAs to porters and stouts. This is a 30-barrel production facility. See the full menu of beer offerings here.

Peppervine

Head over to 4620 Piedmont Row Drive, Suite #170 B, in South Park, and you'll find Peppervine, a new cocktail bar and New American spot, offering tapas and more. The new arrival is off to a strong start, with 4.5 stars out of six reviews on Yelp so far.

Peppervine's menu features a variety of small plates and craft cocktails. Look for the roasted beets and king crab among the tapas offerings. You will find swordfish and flounder on the selection of large plate options. 

Amruth Vilas

University City's Amruth Vilas, an Indian spot, recently opened its doors at 230 E. WT Harris Blvd., Suite C-6. The new arrival is off to an auspicious start, with 4.5 stars from three reviews on Yelp so far.

Amruth Vilas offers online ordering. Look for the chicken Biryani, goat Biryani and thali on the menu. Try the rasmalai for dessert.
