A New American, gluten-free and vegetarian spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 2853 S. University Drive, the new arrival is called Fresh Kitchen.
You'll find healthy fare, including hormone-free meats as well as gluten-free and non-dairy ingredients. Build-your-own bowls are the star of the show, with bases like sweet potato noodles and cauliflower potato mash. Add your choice of protein and top off your creation with sauces ranging from holy kale to coconut Sriracha. Zucchini brownies, paleo cookies and house-made juices are also available. Fresh Kitchen has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 21 reviews on Yelp.
Joy O., who reviewed the new spot on March 3, shared, "The citrus chicken and green rice are my personal favorites. The Parmesan broccoli is amazing. I got to try some free samples of paleo cookies the other day and they were incredibly tasty!"
