New Mt. Lookout bar Delwood opens its doors

A new bar has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Delwood, the new arrival is located at 3204 Linwood Ave. in Mt. Lookout.

Inspired by the owner's mother's native Peru, Delwood's food and beverage menu has a Latin American twist, with items like a spicy chicken sandwich and papa a la huancaina, a Peruvian favorite. Multiple televisions in the restaurant and on the back patio allow patrons to view the latest soccer match, baseball game and other sports. Happy Hour is Tuesday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Dogs are welcome.

With a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Delwood has already made a good impression.

Yelper Danielle B. wrote, "We started with Brussels Sprouts and plantains. Next we ordered the Delwood burger and waffle fries. The waffle fries were nice and crispy with sauce. The burger had such a great flavor."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Delwood is open from 4 p.m.–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday and 4 p.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday and Monday.)
