A new chocolatier and shop, offering ice cream and frozen yogurt, juice and smoothies and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Oakland, called The Milk Shake Factory, is located at 3612 Forbes Ave.
The chain dessert shop spins its own milkshakes and also serves ice cream sundaes, ice cream soda and Root Beer floats. Milkshakes come in Bananas Foster, Birthday Cake and Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, while sundae offerings include Peanut Butter Meltaway, S'mores and Salted Caramel Brownie. Also, root for the Penguins forward Jake Guentzel to score a goal because the Jake Shake is half price the next day. Click here to see the full menu.
