A new Vietnamese and Chinese spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival, called Bep Saigon Asian Kitchen, is located at 12901 N. Interstate Highway 35, Suite 1540.

The menu includes appetizers, soup, specialty items — think Moo Shoo, Saigon vermicelli bowls, Vietnamese noodle soups and Chinese cuisine. Diners can start with a crispy lettuce wrap and wonton soup and either opt for a Bun Thit Nuon Cha Gio bowl with vermicelli and grilled pork and an eggroll, or the Pho Tom with beef, noodles and shrimp.

Bep Saigon Asian Kitchen has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 22 reviews on Yelp.

Brenda L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 13, wrote, "Everything we tried here was delicious. ... We ordered the yellow curry in a clay pot, hu tieu ap chao (pan fried rice cakes), vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and the General Tso's chicken. Everything was well seasoned, had generous portions, including the protein, and was well cooked."

Yelper Nathalie A. added, “This restaurant is very nice. It's super clean with beautiful decor, and it has plenty of staff who are all very friendly."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Bep Saigon Asian Kitchen is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
