John Alamo Solo Exhibition

Downtown Arts Collective is hosting an opening reception for the solo exhibition of Haitian-American abstract artist John Alamo. Alamo's work integrates inspirations from Vodun magic and his own dreamy mentality. The event includes live music and a cocktail party.

Women in the Arts Awards

The annual "Celebrating the Genius of Women" art exhibition will take place at the Orlando Public Library this Saturday. The gallery walk is staged by Women in the Arts Inc. and includes local, national and international finalists.

In addition to the showcase, there will also be an awards ceremony for the Patron's Choice Award and the Women in the Arts Awards, followed by a reception.
