Shabu Do makes Bellevue debut, with hot pot and more

A new Japanese and do-it-yourself food spot, offering hot pot and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 15600 N.E. Eighth St., Suite O18, in the Crossroads Shopping Center, the newcomer is called Shabu Do.

Locals may be familiar with the restaurant's former name, Crab King. However, according to its website, Shabu Do now boasts a new menu featuring higher quality meats, including premium pork belly and wagyu top sirloin.

Shabu Do has made a good impression thus far, with a four-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Paul B. said, “I recommend asking for chili if you like to live on the spicy side. The American wagyu beef was excellent. The quality of the food is higher and much appreciated. This is certainly a wonderful meal, especially on a cold night. ”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Shabu Do is open from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5–10 p.m. on weekdays and 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekends.
