If you love to eat and drink, this week offers a great chance to explore the world of Dallas food and beverage. From a concert by three local artists that includes tacos to a festival in honor of slider sandwiches, there's plenty to explore and enjoy if you're hungry for something new.

Tacos and Tunes: Jenna Clark, Jay Wile, Ashton Edminster

First, take in an evening of music from local artists and devour tacos at "Tacos and Tunes" on Friday at the Butler Brothers Building. Tacos and Tunes is a concert series with three artists who play four songs each, that's removing the barriers between artists and their audiences. Ashton Edminster, Jay Wile andJenna Clark are scheduled to perform. A ticket includes two tacos (chicken or veggie) and water.

Between the Buns

Next, small sandwich lovers rejoice as the second annual Between the Buns slider fest is Saturday at the Dallas Farmers Market. Admissions grants access to sample from more than 25 vendors who will show off their finest creations using fried chicken, pulled pork, beef and more. In addition, there will be live music, a cash bar, games and more.

Sommelier for a Day at III Forks Steakhouse

Lastly, III Forks Steakhouse is offering guests to be a sommelier for a day at its restaurant. Participants will sample six wines, selected by the Wine Director, and hors d'oeuvres, and the most popular wine selected will be placed on the III Forks Steakhouse menu in April. Each month will feature a new theme and for March it will showcase wines of Spain.
