A new African spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 6118 W. Pico Blvd. in Mid-City, the newcomer is called Aduke African Cuisine.
The restaurant serves Nigerian/West African dishes. On the menu, look for Jollof rice, a West African rice dish with tomato sauce, asaro (yam porridge) and ofada stew.
Aduke African Cuisine has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
U J., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 2, wrote, "Very nice and clean spot. The food was awesome too. I surely recommend if you wanna enjoy good Nigerian food."
Yelper Jay A. added, “Once you find Aduke, you see a lovely outdoor patio combined with a spacious clean dining room. The shining star of Aduke is Aduke herself, both the owner and chef."
