Cauldron Ice Cream makes North Valley debutPhoto: Hannah M./Yelp

Craving ice cream? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Cauldron Ice Cream, the new addition is located at 1088 E. Brokaw Road, Suite 60 in North Valley.

Cauldron handcrafts its ice cream in house and rotates its menu each month as it introduces new flavors like Earl Grey lavender, milk and cereal (sweet cream ice cream mixed with frosted corn flakes) and sea salted caramel crunch. Several vegan options are also available each month.

With a four-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp so far, Cauldron is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Alvin N., who reviewed the new spot on April 18, wrote, "Earl Grey lavender is smooth, with a creamy texture. It has a subtle flavor, and it is not overly sweet. The rose sugar accent was a great touch to the ice cream, highlighting the lavender flavor greatly."

And Sarina J. wrote, "The rose flavor is my favorite and the ice cream is made to order! Be sure to request the ice cream to be shaped into a rose."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Cauldron Ice Cream is open from noon–10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and noon–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
