Find burgers and more at Downtown's new Station 8 Burgers

A new spot to score burgers and sandwiches has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Downtown, called Station 8 Burgers, is located at 629 J St., Suite 107.

This new business offers its own twist on the classic American burger with options like The Bank burger with sour cream and chive, mayo, golden mushroom gravy, jack cheese and fresh onions and the Houston burger, made with house-made chile, avocado, lettuce, tomato, fresh onions and pickles. For vegetarian diners, this spot offers the plant-based Impossible Burger topped with house-made chile, avocado, lettuce, tomato, fresh onion and pickles.

Sides include lobster fries, bacon fries, Cajun garlic fries and more.

Station 8 Burgers has made a good impression thus far, with a four-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Christine T., wrote, "The lobster roll is packed with lobster, topped with green onions and a side of lemon and butter is offered. The 16 had a delicious patty with all the fixings, including bacon and a fried egg. It was so good I was licking my fingers and wanting more, but my stomach wasn't as big as my eyes!"

And Donovan M. added, "I finally settled on the Houston burger. What took it over the top for me was the Cajun sausage! This burger was incredibly juicy and definitely a handful. This a burger you don't want to miss out on. Served with a side of Cajun fries as well so you'll have something to soak up all the juiciness from the burger!"

Head on over to check it out: Station 8 Burgers is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
