New Allandale Cajun/Creole spot Louisiana Crab Shack opens its doors

Looking to chow down on some Cajun/Creole fare? A new spot has you covered. The fresh addition to Allandale, called Louisiana Crab Shack, is located at 2525 W. Anderson Lane, Suite 265. It's the sixth Texas location for the chain, which also has eateries in Arlington, Cedar Hill, Humble, Plano and Balch Springs.

Bring an appetite and be prepared to feast on boiled seafood in a bag, fried baskets, combos, po'boy sandwiches and more, as well as sides like corn on the cob, gumbo soup and sweet potatoes. Choose from menu options like soft shell blue crab, shrimp, oysters, catfish or chicken, then add that extra kick with Cajun, lemon pepper and garlic spread seasonings. Wash it down with one of this spot's domestic or imported beers.

With a four-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Louisiana Crab Shack seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Melissa K.  who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on March 22, wrote, "We got a combo with snow crab, shrimp, corn, and potatoes, as well as a soft shell crab po'boy. The po'boy was delicious — the crab was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and there was a good balance of bread, lettuce, tomato, mayo and crab. It was better than some of the po'boys that I've had in New Orleans!"

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Louisiana Crab Shack is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
