A brand-new location of local eatery Café D'Avignon has opened its doors. The fresh arrival to Midtown is located at 485 Seventh Ave., by the Moxy Hotel Times Square.

Like its other NYC locations, the new spot offers fresh-based pastries, quiches, and Stumptown coffee for the morning crowd, with salads and sandwiches adding to its lunchtime offering (try the Russ & Daughters smoked salmon on brioche with crème fraiche and chives, or the farro bowl with seasonal vegetables, chick peas, feta, arugula, radish and olives). Here's the full menu.

With a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, the new cafe is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Ellen L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 20, wrote, "You know this place is legit when you accidentally leave an apple tart out, turn around for literally two seconds ... and your cat makes off with it and noms it so fast that you barely even realize what just happened."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Café D'Avignon is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays, 7 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m.–3 p.m. on Sunday.
