New East Boston bar The Quiet Few opens its doors

A new bar has opened for business in the neighborhood. The newcomer to East Boston, called The Quiet Few, is located at 331 Sumner St.

On the menu, you'll find snacks like pickled eggs; bacon with hot sauce, ranch and bourbon maple dip; or house potato chips with French onion dip. If you're feeling fancy, you can add caviar, too.

For something a little more substantial, there's an assortment of burgers, dogs and sandwiches, like the simple smash burger with American cheese or the Eastie Dog with onion-jalapeño relish and house-made cheese wiz.

For libations, expect to see an extensive selection of whiskey, signature cocktails and draft or canned beers. (Check out the full lineup here.)

The Quiet Few has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Albert B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 14, wrote, "Had the pleasure of stopping in for a nightcap this evening and I couldn't be happier to have a place like this in Jeffries Point. The staff is friendly, the prices are justifiable, and the food gives us Eastie folks something to brag about."

Yelper Leah K. added, “It's busy. It's lovely. The food is delicious. The staff is wonderful. The beer is cold. The whiskey is plentiful. I'm so happy they're finally open!”

Head on over to check it out: The Quiet Few is open from 5 p.m.–midnight on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday and 5 p.m.–1 a.m. on Thursday-Saturday.
