A new Mexican spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 3223 E. Lake St. in Longfellow, the new arrival is called Habanero Tacos Grill.
The taco truck told City Pages that they are moving to a permanent location "because there's a high demand." On the menu, look for the Tacos Trio, the burrito or the quesadilla.
Habanero Tacos Grill has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Danielle S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 4, wrote, "This local taco place recently opened up, and we were happy to try it. The workers were friendly, the menu similar to a food truck menu — tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, etc."
And Genna N. wrote, "Such good food! It's a short walk from my house, as well as on my bus route, which is an added bonus, and the burrito I got was so delicious. Small and intimate, but fast and great food! I really hope they stay for a while!"
