Get ramen and more at Gramercy's new Camellia

A new spot to score ramen and gelato has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Gramercy, called Camellia, is located at 155 Third Ave.

Camellia makes its noodles and gelato fresh in-house on a daily basis. The menu now features matcha noodles, stewed beef ramen, and salt and pepper fried chicken.

The fresh addition has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp.

Andrew L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 11, wrote, "It certainly is an interesting combo of foods and flavors but I kept it simple: stewed pork spare ribs ramen with matcha noodles and some gelato at the end. ... The pork was really good, bested only by the soft boiled eggs."

Yelper David J. added, “Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. ... The noodles were cooked perfectly, and it's worth $2 extra for the matcha noodles. Everyone in my group liked their food, and we plan to go back."

Head on over to check it out: Camellia is open from 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 2–9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
