New Cajun/Creole spot PoBoyz debuts in downtown Portland

A new Cajun/Creole spot, offering sandwiches and seafood, has opened for business in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Downtown, called PoBoyz, is located at 438 S.W. 3 Rd Ave.

PoBoyz serves up authentic New Orleans fare. On the menu, look for the shrimp po' boy, lobster corn dogs, cheesy grits and shrimp and more. This spot also offers sweet potato fries, curly fries and poutine, as well as fried Oreos.

With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, PoBoyz seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Yelper Erin J. wrote, "It's authentic and better than any po' boy or red beans and rice we've had in New Orleans. The boss behind this gem, who is a joy himself, brings ingredients up from Louisiana and makes all the rest from scratch."

And Kevin W. added, “Best po' boy in town. Catfish and shrimp are absolutely on point. Can't wait to come back and try the fried oyster po' boy."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. PoBoyz is open from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–11:15 a.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
